Octa-Core LTE Cat-6 smartphone SoC for the super-mid market

As the mid-tier model of our MediaTek LTE Cat-6 portfolio, MT6750 associates octa core processing performance to new-generation modem technologies. Opening the way for mainstream IMS (including VoLTE, ViLTE, VoWiFi and RCS), the MediaTek MT6750 solution redefines expectations through premium features that enhance display interface, multimedia content, photographic experiences and more.

On the processing side, MT6750 outperforms previous solutions in terms of power-efficiency and performance thanks to its octa-core CPU based on Cortex A53 (clocked at up to 1.5GHz) and also adds the modern Mali T860 dual GPU (up to 650MHz in MT6750T variant). In addition, MT6750 supports as much as 4GB of LPDDR3 memory (up to 833MHz in MT6750T variant).

On the modem side, the MT6176 radio-frequency module complementing MT6750 covers the worldwide 4G spectrum and enables Carrier Aggregation.

Our approach enables device-makers to offer MediaTek’s superior MiraVision display improvements, advanced image-signal processing technologies and full Cat-6 LTE support in more devices than ever before. MT6750 is also compatible with MediaTek PumpExpress 2.0, our technology that speeds up device-charging.

  • Global, Advanced 4G LTE Cat-6 (LTE FDD/TDD R11) features with 2x Carrier Aggregation with capability for VoLTE, ViLTE, VoWiFi, RCS Fast data transfers: up to 300Mbps downlink & up to 50Mbps uplink. Legacy networks compatibility: DC-HSPA+, TD-SCDMA, EDGE, CDMA2000 1x/EVDO Rev. A (SRLTE).
  • MediaTek MiraVision: Enhanced display with a 6-layer user interface compatibility, life-like visuals and ambient-adaptive picture quality via MediaTek Smartscreen. Full HD playback of HEVC/H.265 content and Full HD video recording in H.264 suitable for online streaming or video services.
  • Enhanced photographic experiences via electronic image stabilization with option of gyro assistance, zero shutter delay or gesture shutter, laser and hybrid auto-focus support and advanced image signal processing capable of photo and video HDR (iHDR). Compatible with RWWB sensors for excellent low-light performance.
  • MediaTek PumpExpress 2.0 compatible. Speeds up device-charging dramatically with up to 75% charge in just 30 minutes.

MT6300 Envelope Tracking Module

The MT6300 is an Envelope Tracking Module (ETM), that complements MediaTek’s CAT-6 modem. The package monitors the voltage supplied to the RF power amplifier in real-time, and uses continual, fine-grained voltage adjustments to optimize the power amplifier’s efficiency. By ensuring the power amplifier is operating at peak efficiency it reduces heat generated in the phone, particularly during LTE-A and Carrier Aggregated service use. MediaTek’s ETM package can save up to 20% current at max output power level.

The MT6300 ETM is supported on MediaTek smartphone platforms with its CAT-6 modem including X25, X20, P10 MT6750, MT6738 and future application processor products
